Job Summary:

The individual will assemble, install and operate mast climbing work and transport platforms (powered scaffolding) on construction sites. Travel is expected and may extend to the United States as well as internationally. While on job sites you will be working with all levels of contacts. Being an effective, knowledgeable communicator is important.

Installers work in all types of weather (rain or shine) with 80% of your time being outdoors. Most of our equipment is installed for access to buildings at heights 3-4 floors plus. Being comfortable with heights is essential.

Skills required:

  • Mechanical skills are essential, and some hydraulic or electrical skills are an asset
  • Working at Heights (Fall Arrest) Certification
  • Previous experience in construction, landscaping or similar labour intensive work environment
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Customer service experience and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English communication skills – both oral & written
  • Ability to read schematic drawings is an asset
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Willing to travel regularly, including overnight (travel expenses paid by employer)
  • Involves labour intensive, physically demanding work, therefore the ability to lift and carry safely is essential

Job Summary:

The individual will service and repair equipment, on site service calls and phone diagnostics. Maintain equipment to ensure rental ready and maintain an organized shop.

Most of our equipment is installed for access to buildings at heights 3 to 4 floors and higher. Being comfortable with heights is essential.
